The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Emergency Medical Services is Brooklyn鈥檚 first college-based Paramedic Program. The 91制片厂Pro Paramedic Program is currently under the auspices of the Allied health/Mental Health Department. Paramedic courses start every September. Prior to starting paramedic courses, you must already be a New York State certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). 91制片厂Pro offers EMT courses in fall and spring semesters. The course of study leading to the AAS degree takes at least two years. Additional classes may be necessary to complete the AAS degree.

Not everyone is cut out to be a paramedic. But if you are willing to put the time, effort and sacrifice, our EMS faculty and staff will work to encourage and support you in this exciting career path. Our faculty and staff are academically prepared to teach and are seasoned, experienced paramedics. 91制片厂Pro's Paramedic Program also has a state-of-the-art Simulation Emergency Department Lab including the latest high fidelity manikins for your training benefit.
